Structured Instruction in a Collaborative Setting

Naples Music Academy provides professional small-group instrumental instruction and private instruction in an encouraging after-school environment for students in Naples and Collier County.

Educational Philosophy

Naples Music Academy believes serious musical training and genuine enjoyment belong together. Instruction is structured, sequential, and led by professionals, while the group setting keeps students engaged and accountable to one another. Students are treated as young musicians, not as participants in an activity.

The Benefits of Professional Small-Group Instruction

With approximately three to six students in a class, an instructor can correct technique individually while students benefit from hearing and watching their peers. Students learn to play in time with others, to listen while playing, and to prepare because a group depends on them.

How Students Are Matched

Placement is based on instrument, age, experience level, and the days and times a family lists as available. Compatible pairing matters more than speed: we form a group only when the students in it can progress together with an available instructor.

What Students Learn

Instrument technique and posture, tone production, note reading and rhythm, scales and fundamentals, repertoire appropriate to level, ensemble listening and balance, and performance preparation.

Practice Expectations

Regular home practice between classes is expected and is the single largest factor in a student's progress. Instructors provide clear weekly practice goals so families know exactly what to work on.

Lesson Formats and Lengths

Private lessons are offered in 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute lengths. Duo lessons pair two students for 45 minutes. Group lessons meet for 45 minutes with three to six students. Exact classes and lesson formats are formed according to enrollment and instructor availability.

Performance Opportunities

Recitals and concerts are offered during the academic year so students have concrete goals and families can celebrate progress. Participation is encouraged and prepared for in class.

Instrument Requirements

Students should have access to their own instrument in good working order for class and home practice. Families new to an instrument may contact us for general guidance on renting or purchasing.

How Enrollment and Payment Begin

Registration is the first step, not the final one. After you submit the form, we review your student's instrument, experience, and availability and work to place them in a compatible group with an available instructor.

Enrollment and payment begin only after that placement is confirmed. Tuition is $35 per student per 45-minute group lesson, plus a $55 annual registration fee. You will receive the specific class day, time, and billing details before anything is due.

Placement Notice

Submitting a registration form does not guarantee immediate placement. A class must have compatible students and an available instructor before enrollment is confirmed.
